Another Good Day at the Range!

My friend brought her guns for me to shoot at the gun club today.  My favorite were the Glocks.  I shot the 34 and the 19.  The 34 was lovely to shoot, but the 19 will be more practical for personal safety.  

I ended up getting a Platinum membership at the Frisco Gun Club.  I'll have no range fees, so all I'll be paying for is ammunition and the rental gun once I find one I like.

I have a feeling I'll probably do shooting competitions as I really enjoy doing this.

Below is one of my sheets from today's shooting.  I'm not sure which Glock I was using.

Frisco Gun Club

I went to the Frisco Gun Club yesterday evening before work.  I've never shot a gun before and have always wanted too.  Plus I need some personal protection while I hike with the pups at the park.  

I took the Introductory to Handguns class where the first 90 minutes was classroom leaning about the basics.  The last 90 minutes was shooting a variety of handguns.  The instructor even gave us an extra 30 minutes to shoot!

Our last gun to shoot was the 45 caliber with five rounds five yards away.  There were nine of us and I was the second one to shoot.  I was preparing too much for the blast and shot above the mark.  I think I even said the fck word out loud.  Second one went off and still off the mark.  I thought to myself "I got this" and boo yah... BULLS EYE!  and again and almost again!  I wasn't even wearing my glasses either.

I think I shot the best in the class looking at everyone's sheet!

I can't wait to go again!  Just another hobby to try to support.
