LifeHand

“And I learned what is obvious to a child. That life is simply a collection of little lives, each lived one day at a time. That each day should be spent finding beauty in flowers and poetry and talking to animals. That a day spent with dreaming and sunsets and refreshing breezes cannot be bettered."

Bluebonnet Shoot No Go

We went to our annual Bluebonnet spot for a photo shoot, and there was about a dozen or so.  The weather hasn't been in good condition for them to flourish.  Oh well... we went to Sister Grove Park and ran around some instead.

Below are the photos I took of the pups with my DSLR.

Below is a photo of last year's spread of Bluebonnets.  What a difference from this year.  I'll try again another spot hopefully soon.

My Heart

A found a heart shape leaf on the path today as I was hiking with my dogs.  It reminded me of my own heart... a little beat up, bruised, but still alive with color.

A beautiful day out at the park!

CrossFit

My brother Rick competed for the first time in Crossfit this past Sunday.  He entered the Master's Division and kicked butt!  That's some hard stuff they make them do!

Here are the photos I have of him!

Sister Grove Park!

We haven't been in weeks, it's good to be back at the park!  It was a beautiful day out!

Work Photo Contest

My work is having a contest of employee and their hobby.  You send in a photo and the winner gets the photo posted in their newsletter.  AND THE BEST PART... front row parking at the corporate office for the month of March!!!  That will work out for this night shifter that works offsite.  Anyways, I can probably give it to someone that works their.

Here is the photo I've entered.  I had to do a collage, because I have two... well three hobbies.  Dog agility, sheep herding and photography.

Strength

"The last three or four reps is what makes the muscle grow. This area of pain divides the champion from someone else who is not a champion. That's what most people lack, having the guts to go on and just say they'll go through the pain no matter what happens."
-Arnold Schwarzenegger

And I saw this today from my brother in his crossfit competition. I'm very proud of him.
