Honoring my cats on National Shelter Day

A rescue organization pulled out mama cat and eight kittens when they were only a few weeks old. The foster home homeowner was allergic to cats, but didn't want to see them get put down. She took them in as there was no one else and their time was up.

Luckily the homeowner was going on vacation for a couple of weeks, so the rescue organization took care of them at her house. They were five weeks old and way to young, but they had to go when she came back. I snagged two of them and called them Bumble and Willabee.

I am so grateful for that rescue organization that went above and beyond to keep these cats from doom. These cats mean the world to me. I wished I remembered their name.

These photos were taken when they were four weeks old and their homecoming photo at five weeks old.
